SAFARI HAS TWO HALLOWEEN THEMED EVENTS COMING UP

October 17, 2019 10:00 a.m.
Wildlife Safari has two Halloween themed events coming up.
Safari Boos and Brews will be this Saturday night. The 21 and over event will feature brews from several local craft brewing outlets plus wine as well. Wildlife Safari will have its first ever haunted house – the Safari Chop Shop, which is guaranteed to give people the scare of their life!  Spooky Spotlight Tours will be available through the Asia section of the park and those attending can see a lion feed close up. The Terror Dome Dance Bar will be open for dancing and there will be a costume contest as well. Winners will receive close-up encounters with the “beasts of Wildlife Safari”. Admission is $15. The spotlight tours, encounters and beer or wine, are all available for an extra $5.
For families there is “Umpqua Health Presents Zoobilee” on October 25th and 26th. Event goers can meet animal ambassadors in the Safari Village, go trick or treating, catch a special evening tour of the Asia drive-through section of the park, and enjoy snacks and games. Admission is $8 but those age 2 and under get in for free. A “spooky tour” is available for an extra $5. Zoobilee runs both evenings from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
