Monday is Columbus Day and that means there are some closures.
As with all national holidays, federal offices are shuttered and no regular mail will be delivered. Banks and credit unions are closed as well.
Columbus Day is not observed as a state holiday in Oregon, so state, county and city offices are open as normal. All schools are in session around Douglas County.
