Umpqua Watersheds is hosting the 10th-annual Umpqua Brew Fest on Saturday.
With title sponsor FCR, it will run from 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Douglas County Fairgrounds.
Organizers bill the 21 and over event as a “community celebration of clean water, craft beer, and sustainable living in southern Oregon’s hundred valleys of the Umpqua”. Those attending can taste craft beers, ciders, and meads from breweries around the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Featured food vendor will be Wrappin and Rolling. Music will include Fortune’s Folly from Eugene, plus local artists Rovers and Dragons, and Ken Carloni.
The festival will also feature the Iron Chef Food Pairing where four local breweries are paired with food from local restaurants or food trucks to create the best brew and food combinations.
Admission to the Brew Fest is $15. It includes a tasting glass and four tasting tickets. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available.
