I'5: EXIT 124 PROJECT CLOSE TO WRAPPING UP

October 10, 2019 10:40 a.m.
A contractor for the Oregon Department of Transportation is close to wrapping up work at and near the Interstate Five interchange at the Harvard Avenue exit in Roseburg.
Dan Latham from ODOT told News Radio 1240 KQEN that the new traffic signal on Harvard by Roseburg High School has been turned on, and the old signals and poles have been removed. Latham said that was the last big work item.
Latham said most of the project has been completed and all that is left now is cleanup work plus odds and ends.
The project began in May and was designed to make several improvements to the intersection of Harvard Avenue and the southbound ramps.
ODOT expects work to conclude by October 31st.
