The City of Roseburg will hold a public open house Thursday to provide an update on the Roseburg Transportation System Plan.
Information from staff said the TSP is a comprehensive document which serves as a “road map” for modes of travel and facilitates the public uses to navigate through the city. Staff said every citizen is affected by the transportation system whether driving a car, delivery truck, bus, bicycle or walking. The purpose of the TSP is to guide the development and maintenance of existing and future roads, multi-use paths and sidewalks.
Staff will be on site to answer questions. Those attending can leave written comments and questions as well. The event will run from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Umpqua Room of the Public Safety Center on Southeast Douglas.
