The Glide Rural Fire Protection District will hold its annual barbecue and craft fair this weekend.
Organizers said the event raises funds which are used to help meet the needs of the department.
The fair will run Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Glide Community Center on North Umpqua Highway. Nearly two dozen artists and craftspeople will be selling and displaying their wares. Barbecue tri-trip will be served along with hotdogs for the kids, plus pies and other baked goods.
Those attending can meet local EMTs and firefighters at the event.
