The Garden Valley Road Paving Project has resumed after a delay.
A release from Douglas County Public Works said the final phase was postponed last week due to inclement weather conditions. Crews anticipate being able to wrap up the project this week, weather permitting.
Tuesday night and Wednesday night construction crews will continue restriping Garden Valley between Brown’s Bridge and the Roseburg city limits between 7:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
Motorists are asked to slow down and proceed with caution while in and around the work zone. Traffic flow during construction hours is controlled by flaggers and pilot cars.
