Staff with Oregon State Police are seeking information regarding a poached buck deer in Douglas County.
An OSP release said on Sunday Fish and Wildlife troopers responded to a report of a buck deer being dumped on Interstate Five near the northbound off ramp at milepost 112 at the old rest area site just north of Myrtle Creek.
The report said troopers located a skinned whole buck and the hides and heads of two other bucks. There was one three- point buck and two forked horn bucks. The animals were either killed late Friday night or on Saturday, according to the report.
Anyone with information about the animals is asked to call OSP at *OSP, or 1-800-452-7888.
