The Douglas County Human Trafficking Task Force will have a Human Trafficking 101 community event Wednesday night in Sutherlin.
Violence Prevention Specialist Marion Pearson and Anti-Trafficking Advocate Katie Slone will lead the meeting. The event will talk about how trafficking works across the United States and locally, where the high-risk areas are, and what people should be looking for in order to help stop trafficking.
The meeting will be at the Sutherlin Community Center on Willamette Street and will run from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
