The Roseburg Police Department participated in focused DUII enforcement patrols throughout the month of September.
Sergeant Jeff Eichenbusch said that is thanks to a grant from the Oregon Department of Transportation and Oregon Impact.
During the month of September, RPD arrested 13 people for suspicion of driving a vehicle while impaired by alcohol, drugs, or a combination of the two. Eichenbusch said grants such as this provide officers with the ability to focus on problems that they wouldn’t necessarily be able to focus on during normal patrol.
