Officials with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office along with assistance from other agencies are continuing to search for a man wanted by law enforcement, and last seen south of Green.
Sergeant Brad O’Dell told News Radio 1240 KQEN that the man took off while being contacted by law enforcement in the area of the 5500 block of Roberts Creek Road around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday morning. O’Dell said the man is believed to be armed.
O’Dell told KQEN that people living nearby have been told to “shelter in place”. As of around 2:00 p.m. O’Dell said there was no new information regarding the situation.
