The coldest temperatures of the week are expected on Tuesday morning.
An Urgent Weather Message from the National Weather Service said a Frost Advisory is in effect from 2:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. for parts of central Douglas County including the City of Glendale.
Frost is expected across many of the valleys west of the Cascades. It will not be as cold on Wednesday morning but some areas are still likely to be affected by frost and possibly by freezing temperatures.
Temperatures in the advisory area are expected to dip down to between 33 and 36 degrees. Sensitive vegetation may be damaged or killed.
