Highway paving work requiring several nights of intermittent lane closures along Oregon 38 and U.S. 101 in Reedsport is underway. Dan Latham from the Oregon Department of Transportation said prime contractor Knife River Materials is scheduled to grind and pave in the downtown area of Highway 38 again Thursday night.
Latham said the area extends from the U.S. 101 junction to 3rd Street. Additional paving work is scheduled in this area on Monday and Tuesday nights next week. No parking will be permitted in these areas from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. each night.
On Friday night, paving work is scheduled in the area of U.S. 101 and 22nd Street.
Latham said motorists should expect lane closures and delays. Flaggers will provide traffic control as needed.
