In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:
“The Last Five Years” opens tonight at Umpqua Actors Community Theatre”.
Directed by Jannie Prawitz, the production stars Peter Wickliffe and Autumn Carter. Told almost entirely through songs, its is described as “an emotionally powerful and intimate musical” about two New Yorkers in their twenties who fall in and out of love over the course of five years.
It is being performed Friday and Saturday nights at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday afternoons at 2:00 p.m. through October 6^th. Tickets are $15 for adults and can be obtained by going to www.uact-theatre.com. Due to mild language and adult situations, it is recommended for ages 13 and older.
