TWO PEOPLE HURT IN DOWNTOWN ROSEBURG ACCIDENT

Two people were hurt in a two-vehicle accident in downtown Roseburg on Wednesday.
A report from the Roseburg Police said just after 12:00 p.m. a 39-year old man was traveling east on Oak and allegedly turned north against the light at Southeast Stephens. His vehicle was hit by a pickup, whose driver was headed north through the same intersection.
The first driver, and a passenger in the second vehicle, each sought treatment at Mercy Medical Center for minor injuries.
The driver who caused the wreck was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.
