SAIF TO RETURN NEARLY $4.4 MILLION TO COUNTY ECONOMY

The State Accident Insurance Fund will return nearly $4.4 million to the Douglas County economy.
A release from SAIF said it announced two dividends for more than 48,500 employers statewide. That included a $120 million primary dividend to be paid to SAIF’s policyholders, and a $40 million safety performance dividend to be paid based on each policyholder’s safety results.
The money to be received by policyholders in Douglas County does not include state agencies or public universities, The SAIF release said the checks will be sent in the mail next month.
