MAN JAILED, NURSING HOME AND VEHICLES ALLEGEDLY BROKEN INTO

A Roseburg man was jailed after allegedly breaking into a nursing home and several vehicles early Thursday morning.
A report from Roseburg Police said officers responded to a report that a man broke into Rose Haven Nursing Home around 1:00 a.m. and was still inside. Officers arrived to investigate and the man reportedly took off running from the scene. Officers were not able to catch him at that time. A short time later reports came in that a number of vehicles had been broken into on Mulholland Drive. The report said there was evidence linking them to the incident at Rose Haven.
30-year old Bradley Bowers was found at a residence on Mountain View where he was said to be acting suspiciously. He was charged with second degree burglary, four counts of unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle, second degree counts of criminal trespass and criminal mischief, and for third degree theft. He was initially detained on $83,750 bail.
