A Roseburg man was arrested in an alleged gas stealing incident in Roseburg on Tuesday.
A report from Roseburg Police said at 2:15 p.m. 29-year old Jonathan Rieke reportedly stole several gallons of gas from a parked car in the 2200 block of Northwest Kline. The report said the suspect spilled fuel all over the ground and was caught by a passerby and blocked in until police arrived.
The man was charged with unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, third-degree theft and for littering within 100 yards of a roadway and was taken to jail.
He is no longer listed in custody on the Douglas County Jail website.
