MAN JAILED FOR ALLEGED DISTURBANCE

A Roseburg man was jailed after an alleged disturbance early Saturday.
Information from the Roseburg Police said at 12:15 a.m. it was reported that a vehicle was parked in the middle of West Harvard underneath the Interstate Five overpass near Bellows and that two people were verbally arguing near the car.
When officers arrived, they contacted the vehicle’s driver and one of the people in the disturbance. The 31-year old driver displayed signs of impairment. He was charged with recklessly endangering another person and for DUII alcohol. He was released later on Saturday.
