A 20-year old woman was cited for driving under the influence of intoxicants and for being a minor in possession following an accident on Saturday night.
A report from the Oregon State Police said at 11:00 p.m. there was a reported crash on Interstate Five northbound near the Garden Valley exit. A trooper responded and found a vehicle blocking the slow lane of the freeway and a driver that was allegedly showing impairment. The woman was taken to jail where she provided a breath sample of .12, which is over the legal level for intoxication.
The woman was released after the citation was issued. Further details regarding the crash were not released.
