Rehearsals for the Roseburg Concert Chorale’s 70th annual winter concerts begin next week.
Rehearsals will run Tuesday nights from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Whipple Fine Arts on the campus of Umpqua Community College. This is a “Messiah” year and concerts are set for Friday December 6th and Sunday December 8th. No auditions are required and the choir is open to singers of all ages.
As is normal on a “Messiah” year, singers are required to provide their own score. Scores will be available for purchase at rehearsal. There is a $10 singer fee, with scores costing $10 as well. Roseburg Concert Chorale is a UCC class, so members may take it for credit if desired.
New singers will be accepted through September 24th.
