2 people were hurt in an accident on Interstate 5 on Thursday night.
A report from Oregon State Police said at about 11:45 p.m. 2 vehicles struck each other as they headed north on the freeway near the Drain and Elkton exit. The driver of the first vehicle, an 18-year old female and her passenger, a 28-year old female, were both taken to Sacred Heart Medical Center at Riverbend in Springfield with minor injuries.
The report does not indicate if any citations were issued in the wreck.
