Roseburg Zonta will have its 8th annual Iron Woman competition happening soon.
Teams of 2 women who are over 21 years old, combine their scores in events ranging from shooting hoops, corn hole, bowling, disc-golf, putt-putt golf and horseshoes. The event will be held on September 14th starting at 8:30 a.m. at Backside Brewery. Transportation for all participants will be provided to each event. The day will conclude at about 5:00 p.m. following Hors d’oeuvres and prizes during the closing ceremony.
Registration is $150 per team. The Iron Woman event is a major fundraiser for Zonta as they work to reduce violence against women, stop human trafficking, and give women a hand-up to make a transition to a better life.
