Tuesday was the hottest August 27th ever in Roseburg.
Staff from the National Weather Service told News Radio 1240 KQEN that the mercury reached 103 degrees at the Roseburg Regional Airport. The previous record for the date was 99 degrees, set in 2017.
Temperatures should cool by several degrees on Wednesday, with Roseburg forecast to reach 97 degrees.
