ROSEBURG ELEMENTARY REGISTRATION CONCLUDES ON FRIDAY

With classes beginning next week, registration for elementary students in the Roseburg School District will wrap up on Friday.
Information from Roseburg Public Schools said kindergarten students must be 5 years old, and first graders must be 6 years old on or before September 1st, without exception. Parents or guardians must present proof of age by providing a birth certificate, baptismal record, passport or certified adoption papers. All students must have evidence of immunization. Forms are available at the Umpqua Community Health Center, the school and physician’s offices.
Most schools are registering students between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. but check with the specific school as a few do have times that vary.
