A free Medicare 101 seminar has been set for September.
It will be hosted by the Douglas County Senior Health Insurance Benefits Assistance Team from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday September 4th and will be held at the offices of the United Community Action Network on Kenneth Ford Drive, across from Costco, just north of Roseburg.
A release from the group said those who are new to Medicare or need to enroll soon, along with employers or medical office managers who have questions about Medicare, can get their questions answered at the seminar.
SHIBA volunteers host Medicare 101 seminars like this throughout the year. Volunteers are also available by phone to set up on-one-one appointments during the workweek.
