ROSEBURG SWIFT WATCH RETURNS TO FIR GROVE PARK

August 13, 2019 11:30 a.m.
The Roseburg Swift Watch is returning to Fir Grove Park.
The migration of the Vaux’s Swifts will be bringing them back to the area to gather and roost in the chimney of the Clay Place behind the Umpqua Valley Arts Center.
The Umpqua Valley Audubon society will have volunteers at Fir Grove Park on Friday August 23rd, Friday August 30th, Friday September 6th, and Friday September 13th, to explain more about the birds and their migration.
Activities will begin about an hour before sunset with free art activities for children.
