The new city manager was officially appointed at the Roseburg City Council meeting Monday night.
Nikki Messenger takes up the mantle of Roseburg City Manager, the first woman to told the job after 13 male predecessors.
The council received the 2018 Government Finance Officers Association award for both outstanding achievement in Popular Annual Financial Report, as well as excellence in overall financial reporting.
Ordinance number 3527 was adopted, amending the Roseburg Municipal Code regarding land use and development regulations.
Several other items were discussed at the City Council Meeting as well.
