The Roseburg School District is offering free summer meals for kids, weekdays through Friday August 16th.
Meals are being served at Lunchbox Express sites:
*Saddle Butte from 11:00 a.m. to 11:20 a.m.
*Eastwood Park from 11:35 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
*Thompson Park next to Rose School from 12:05 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.
*Faith Lutheran Church, in the park area, from 12:45 p.m. to 1:05 p.m.
*Stewart Park from 1:10 p.m. to 1:40 p.m.
Meals are also available in the cafeteria of Sunnyslope Elementary from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Meals are available for children and teens up to age 18. All meals must be eaten on site.
The summer food program is a part of the USDA Food and Nutrition Service and is administered by the Oregon Department of Education Child Nutrition Programs. Call 440-4023 for more information.
