PEDESTRIAN THAT DIED, IDENTIFIED

The pedestrian who died after being struck by a vehicle on Sunday night has been identified.
Sergeant Brad O’Dell of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said 37-year old Shane Dishner of Coquille was walking in a traffic lane on Highway 138E east of Roseburg at about 9:40 p.m.
Immediately prior to the accident, dispatchers had been receiving reports that a man was walking on the highway, according to O’Dell. A sedan operated by a 19-year old Roseburg man struck the pedestrian, who was wearing dark clothing.
No further information has been released.
