GLENDALE MAN DIES OF SELF-INFLICTED GUN SHOT

A Glendale man died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound on Tuesday morning.
Sergeant Brad O’Dell of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said detectives have concluded their preliminary investigation into the death which was reported at about 7:40 a.m. when the man’s body was found outside a home in the 3000 block of Glenbrook Loop Road in Riddle.
In the initial report, Sergeant Brad O’Dell said investigators were working to determine if the death was the result of violence or was a suicide. The situation brought a large police presence to the scene including DCSO deputies, officers from the Myrtle Creek Police, and troopers from the Oregon State Police.
The deceased was 43 years old.
