Wednesday is the 2nd day of this year’s Douglas County Fair.
Rockers Collective Soul will play at the Cascade Community Credit Union Amphitheater at 7:30 p.m.
A variety of entertainment will be on the News-Review/Brooke Communications Stage throughout the day.
The main gate opens daily at 7:00 a.m. as 4H and FFA activities get underway for the day. The carnival gate opens at 10:00 a.m. with rides getting underway at 11:00 a.m. The rest of the facility opens at 11:00 a.m.
Kids 12 and under get in free all day every day when accompanied by an adult. Teens get $2 off every day with a canned food donation.
Buses to the fair run from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. They operate every half hour until 5:00 p.m. and every 15 minutes in the evening. Bus rides begin at Roseburg High School, the Douglas County Courthouse and at the First Student lot in Green. Riding the bus is free, but parking a vehicle at the fair costs $8.
The fair runs nightly through 11:00 p.m.
