The Milepost 97 Fire south of Canyonville is now 65% contained with no acreage growth.
Information from the Oregon Department of Forestry said 1,187 personnel remain working on the fire. There are 50 hand crews, 6 helicopters, 35 engines, 12 dozers and 28 tenders involved in suppressing the fire.
A complete update is expected later Tuesday morning.
