A deceased man was found outside a home in Riddle Tuesday morning.
Sergeant Brad O’Dell of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office at around 7:40 a.m. dispatchers received a report of a possible medical aid in the 3,000 block of Glenbrook Loop Road. O’Dell said deputies along with officers from the Myrtle Creek Police and troopers from Oregon State Police located the man.
Detectives and staff from the Douglas County Medical Examiner’s Office are on the scene conducting an investigation into the nature of the death. O’Dell said “it is too early in the investigation to determine if the death is the result of violence or suicide”. He said the agency does not believe there is an ongoing risk to public safety.
