In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:
Beauty and the Beast runs through Sunday in Jacoby Auditorium, presented by Umpqua Actors Community Theatre. Around 100 people including actors, musicians, backstage help and others are involved in helping the show to take place.
Performances are nightly through Saturday at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children up to age 12. They can be purchased by going to www.uact-theatre.com or by calling 541-673-2125.
