A Glendale woman was jailed after calling 911 multiple times.
A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said Monday morning 55-year old Valerie Salter continued to call 911 after being warned not too multiple times, after getting out of jail a few days earlier. A deputy attempted to contact her at her home but she reportedly locked herself in her room and pretended to be asleep. The report said a family member took the screws out of the door and let deputies in.
The woman allegedly resisted arrest and while a deputy was standing next to her, she reportedly spit on his neck and uniform.
Salter was initially charged with telephonic harassment, resisting arrest, initiating a false report and for aggravated harassment.
