MYRTLE CREEK MAN HURT WHEN WATER TRUCK FLIIPS

A Myrtle Creek man was hurt when the water truck he was driving flipped on Sunday night.
Information from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said the 75-year old man was in the 10,000 block of Tiller Trail Highway in the Days Creek area when he took a turn a bit too fast and the vehicle wrecked at about 9:00 p.m. The report said the man had a large bump on his forehead and was taken to Mercy Medical Center. He was treated and released according to a spokesperson for the hospital.
