A Roseburg man was taken to the hospital after being hurt in a two-vehicle accident on Sunday morning.
Information from the Roseburg Police said Sunday just after 10:00 a.m. a 61-year old man was traveling eastbound in a pickup on Diamond Lake Boulevard pulling a utility trailer with a tractor when he slowed to turn right onto Flagg Street. An 80-year old man was also driving a pickup eastbound right behind the first vehicle when he was unable to slow down in time and collided with the passenger side of the other pickup and its trailer.
The second driver complained of pain from hitting the steering wheel and was transported via ambulance. He was treated and released. The man was cited for following too closely.
