ROSEBURG MAN JAILED AFTER ALLEGEDLY BREAKING INTO ADAPT

A Roseburg man was jailed after allegedly breaking into the offices of Adapt on West Madrone Thursday night.
A report from the Roseburg Police said at about 9:30 p.m. the 69-year old was at the entrance to the offices, pounding on the front door looking for a family member. When no one answered, the man reportedly grabbed a pipe wrench from his vehicle, and broke a glass window next to the front entrance. The he proceeded inside the building, looking for the family member, according to the report.
The man was charged with first-degree criminal mischief and second-degree criminal trespass and was initially detained on over $50,000 bail. He was released from custody on Friday.
