LONG FIBRE DAY-USE PARK CLOSED DUE TO FIRE

July 29, 2019 4:10 a.m.
Due to the increase in the evacuation status for locations near Azalea because of the Milepost 97 Fire, the Douglas County Board of Commissioners in conjunction with the County Parks Department has issued a closure notice for the Long Fibre Day-Use County Park.
That park is on Upper Cow Creek Road, about 4 miles from Interstate Five Exit 88. The closure will stay in effect until further notice.
All other county parks, campgrounds, and day-use areas remain open at this time. All reservations for county parks are still in place. For more information contact the Douglas County Parks Department at 957-7001.
