ROSEBURG PARKS COMMISSION HAS OPENING

The City of Roseburg Parks & Recreation Commission is accepting applications from people interested in serving with the advisory group.

The commission meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 8:15 a.m. to consider and prepare long and short-range operation and management programs for the park system. The group also investigates means of economic operations, and considers and evaluates rules for park usage. They also establish operation parameters for the Stewart Park Golf Course, including long range goals, maintenance standards, financing and capitol improvement.
Anyone living in the City limits who is interested in serving on the commission can fill out an application form which is available at www.cityofroseburg.org. They can also be picked up at City Hall.
Applications will be open until the position is filled.
