PASSENGERS TAKEN TO HOSPITAL AFTER WRECK

All the passengers in one vehicle were taken to the hospital following a 2-vehicle wreck on the Washington Street Bridge in Roseburg, Monday night at about 6:30 p.m.
Information from Roseburg Police said westbound traffic on the bridge was merging and stopping when the first vehicle, driven by a 31-year old woman, rear ended a second vehicle, operated by a 78-year old woman.
The occupants in the first vehicle were transported to Mercy Medical Center due to complaints of pain. The driver that caused the accident was cited for driving uninsured and having no valid operator’s license.
