The Sutherlin Police Department is holding an ice cream social and back to school bash on Thursday August 15^th in Central Park, by the Sutherlin Community Center.
Free school supplies will be available while supplies last and there will be a “Dunk a Cop” event at a dunk tank.
Organizers say they want to make the event bigger than ever before and are asking for help from the community. Those who want to help the teachers and students in Sutherlin can make a donation by calling 459-2211.
The event will run from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
