A Myrtle Creek man was cited for being a felon in possession of a firearm on Wednesday afternoon.
Detective Kevin Taggart of the Myrtle Creek Police said an officer saw 46-year old Adrian Young driving and had prior knowledge that the man’s license was suspended. The man was detained near the corner of Pacific and Walnut. When he was stopped, the officer noticed the man had a gun sitting on the seat. A records check showed that he was a convicted felon.
Young was initially held on $50,000 bail.
