A woman was ejected in a vehicle accident on Monday night.
A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said at about 11:30 p.m. a deputy was sent to the 800 block of Glengary Loop Road near Green. A passenger vehicle had hit a ditch before the driver was ejected. Fire and EMS treated the 44-year old before taking her to Mercy Medical Center. Later while at the hospital the driver told a deputy that the accident took place because she was driving too fast.
The woman was treated and released.
