Roseburg Police jailed a Winston man for alleged sex crime charges on Saturday.

An RPD report said an investigation began on June 25th after a 15-year-old female claimed she had received messages from Bryer Roberts, some of which were sexual in nature, over Snapchat. The investigation revealed that Roberts knew the female was a minor and reportedly offered to meet with her multiple times.to have a sexual encounter.

An officer interviewed Roberts on Saturday, and he admitted to messaging the minor and knowing that she was a 15-year-old. The 21-year-old was charged with a second-degree count of online sexual corruption of a child and luring a minor. Roberts was detained without bail.
