The Colt Ford show, scheduled for August 9th at the Douglas County Fair has been canceled.

A release from the agency representing Ford, said the country-rap star remains in the Intensive Care Unit at a Scottsdale, Arizona hospital following a heart attack after a show in Gilbert, Arizona on April 4th. In the past week, Gilbert has made significant progress in his recovery and his condition is slowly but steadily improving.

Due to current circumstances, Ford’s scheduled tour dates through August 30th have been canceled or rescheduled.

Information from the Douglas County Fairgrounds said ticket buyers who have purchased tickets via ETIX will be receiving a full refund automatically through the ticket company. Depending on the bank, that transaction could take 2 to 7 business days. Those who have purchased tickets in the fairground’s office with cash should call 440-4425 for more information.

Fair officials are working on a replacement band to fill the August 9th date.
