ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL WOMAN FOLLOWING ALLEGED DUII INCIDENT

Roseburg Police jailed a woman following an alleged DUII incident on Saturday morning.

An RPD report said at 9:00 a.m. 44-year-old Andrea Kytola was called in as being a reckless driver near the south entrance of the Roseburg VA in the 900 block of Northwest Veterans Way. Multiple callers said the woman was acting erratic and possibly under the influence. Kytola reportedly parked her sedan in the middle of the road and entered an elderly female’s residence. Kytola allegedly grabbed a different woman inside the house, before being forced out.

Kytola re-entered her vehicle and drove into a tree, which deployed the airbags, Officers arrived on the scene and briefly struggled to detain her and place her in a patrol vehicle. She was transported to corrections where she allegedly fought with jail staff. The grass on the VA property, along with a large tree, were damaged due to Kytola’s driving.

She was charged with first-degree burglary, reckless driving, driving under the influence of intoxicants, second-degree criminal mischief, harassment and a parole violation. Kytola was detained without bail.
