Roseburg Police jailed a woman for a probation violation late Saturday afternoon.

An RPD report said at 5:40 p.m. officers contacted the 45-year-old near the intersection of Southeast Stephens Street and Southeast Haynes Avenue and knew she was wanted by her probation officer. The woman was taken into custody and detained without bail.

July 14, 2026 10:30 a.m. 

Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged assault incident and for warrants on Saturday.

An RPD report said at 5:00 p.m. officers responded to a business in the 2500 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway after learning that a victim had been stuck with a skateboard. The victim sustained minor injuries during the incident. During the investigation, officers identified 28-year-old Kyea Watson as the suspect.

Watson was contacted later in the evening at a business in the 2000 block of Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard. He was charged with fourth-degree assault and for multiple warrants that were out for his arrest. Watson was detained on $90,000 bail.

July 14, 2026 10:15 a.m.

Roseburg Police jailed a man for a reported harassment incident on Saturday.

An RPD report said at 1:20 p.m. an employee of a business in the 1500 block of Southeast Stephens Street said she had been punched in the face by the 29-year-old after he had told him to leave the property. Officers contacted the suspect a short time later and he admitted to the incident. He was charged with harassment. Bail was set at #1,250.

July 14, 2026 10:00 a.m. 

Roseburg Police jailed a man for a reported criminal trespass incident on Sunday.

An RPD report said at 6:25 a.m. officers responded to the 900 block of Southeast Pine Street after a victim said the 31-year-old from California had returned to the property after being trespassed by officers on Saturday. The man was taken into custody without incident. Bail was set at $1,250.

July 14, 2026 9:50 a.m. 

Roseburg Police jailed a woman for a parole violation on Sunday afternoon.

An RPD report said at approximately 12:40 p.m. officers contacted the 34-year-old in the 2900 block of Northeast Stephens Street. They had prior knowledge that she was wanted by her parole officer. A detainer was authorized and she was taken into custody without incident. The woman was detained without bail and was released later that day.

July 14, 2026 9:40 a.m. 

Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged disorderly conduct incident on Sunday. An RPD report said at 2:10 p.m. officers contacted the 28-year-old Tri City man after he was allegedly trespassing at a business in the 2200 block of Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard. Officers advised the man of trespass and escorted him off the property.

After breaking contact with the man, officers observed him walk into the eastbound travel lanes of Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard, blocking vehicles from being able to pass him.  The suspect then reportedly walked into the center lane of travel, preventing another vehicle from being able to make a left turn. Officers attempted to re-contact the man down the roadway and advised him he was under arrest. The man began to run from officers but was caught a short distance later.

He was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct and third-degree escape. Bail was set at $8,750. The man was released later on Sunday.

July 14, 2026 9:25 a.m.  

Roseburg Police jailed a man for failure to report as a sex offender on Sunday.

An RPD report said just after 4:10 p.m. officers contacted the 62-year-old in the 2400 block of Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard and learned he was a registered sex offender with his last reported address in Jackson County. The man admitted he moved to Roseburg a couple months ago and had not reported his current address within the required ten days of the address change. The man was taken into custody. He was detained without bail and was released on Monday.

July 14, 2026 9:15 a.m. 

Roseburg Police jailed a man for theft and a warrant on Sunday.

An RPD report said at 5:00 p.m. officers contacted the 50-year-old on Interstate 5 southbound near the Garden Valley Boulevard Milepost 125 exit, as his vehicle was disabled. The man was a suspect in a recent theft and admitted to stealing a bottle of vodka from the business in the 1300 block of Northeast Stephens Street. During the investigation, officers learned the man had a warrant for his arrest out of the Cottage Grove Police Department.

He was taken into custody and transported to corrections. The man was charged with third-degree theft and the warrant. Bail was set at $1,250.
