TRANSIENT JAILED FOLLOWING ALLEGED DUII INCIDENT

A transient was jailed following an alleged DUII incident on Wednesday night.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said just before 9:00 p.m. the 22-year-old woman was observed allegedly driving recklessly and showing obvious signs of impairment, in the area of Southeast Stephens Street and Southeast Spring Avenue in Roseburg. The woman reportedly refused standard field sobriety tests and refused to provide a blood sample. A search warrant was granted, and her blood was drawn at CHI Mercy Medical Center.

The woman was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants, and reckless driving. She was cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured and breath test refusal. The woman was detained without bail.
